I know (even in my neighborhood) we have seen this foreclosure hit. But homes are selling and I’m sure your business will only get better! I love the work done by your Company (and Scott) several years ago. I had engineered wood (Mohawk) put down at my entrance, den, kitchen, guest bath and utility/laundry room as you enter from the garage. Scott also helped tile around my fireplace/hearth plus very fine carpet in all other areas. I get many compliments on the look. I will always continue to talk up your fine work.

I have used East Valley Floors several times and have been very happy with the outcome. Von Payne is an honest person and I trust him, which for me, is very important. On more than one occasion, Von has helped me even though I waited till the last minute and wanted something done quickly. Every time I use him he does his very best to get me the best possible price.
When our condominium needed to be completely re-done because of a tenant that ruined it, Von helped us by promptly putting in some carpet that he had, and knew would work well for us there, very inexpensively. I LOVE that he always goes above and beyond with his service. He has driven all over the valley to show me different options for flooring and more recently, counter tops. He is always positive and respectful.
My husband and I needed new counter tops quickly as we were taking a trip out of country. He had it all arranged and ready to go within about a week and install within two weeks! We ALMOST made the mistake of purchasing counter tops through Home Depot and having them install it because of the promise of an inexpensive price. I decided I should call East Valley Floors before making my final decision. I’m glad I did. Von Payne gave me the information on all of the hidden costs and explained how the quality may not have been what I was expecting. He even went so far as to obtain a complete estimate from The Home Depot for me so that we could actually compare their bid to his. He never has a problem letting us get other bids and we never feel any pressure from him. We know, however, that he will always give us a great price and get the job done quickly and beautifully.

I spent 35 years working in the Government in the Engineering and Environmental Field. I love construction and so in 1992 I designed a custom home to be built in Gilbert, Arizona in 1993. For each aspect or facet of construction I contacted a minimum of ten contractors. I contacted flooring companies in the Mesa, Gilbert, East Phoenix, and Chandler to acquire quotes on the tile work I wanted in my home and the carpeting.
Von Payne of East Valley Floors provided me with the best of everything, from a great quote, to great installation timing, quality materials, and the best in installation expertise. I took on a remodeling project of a 1917 home in Bisbee, Arizona in 2000. East Valley Floors again came through with the best carpeting and an installation crew that went all the way to Bisbee to actually make sure the carpet was installed correctly. Now I am doing some upgrading of my 1993 custom home in Gilbert, and again I have turned to East Valley Floors for my flooring and tiling needs.
I can not say enough good things about East Valley Floors. I guess to summarize it up, I must say that in my 41 years as an actual home owner here and in Colorado I have dealt with many flooring companies, but only one that stands above the rest in Honesty, Integrity and down right a pleasure to work with, and that is East Valley Floors.

We were completely satisfied with the work you did. Your product knowledge was very reassuring. We appreciated the low key sales approach. We, of course, obtained prices from others. We had decided to accept yours even if was a bit higher. We were certainly happy when it was in fact the lowest. Your willingness to accept responsibility for the entire job: removal of the old tile and base boards, furniture moving, filling the sunken floor with concrete, installation of the hardwood floors and new base boards and the complete clean up, was a real plus.We also appreciated the fact that once work was started it continued to completion with no interruptions.
While we wanted the hardwood put down right away, we did accept, and are thankful, that you insisted the newly poured concrete be fully cured and tested before installation could begin. Just a quick note to thank you for the usual fine job recently done on our bathroom repair. Although it had been five years since you did the tile work in our bathroom, we appreciate that you offered to come, take out the tile and repair the problem, all at no charge to us. That is one of the reasons we’ve continued to use you for our flooring over the past 15 years, and have recommended you to many of our friends. But also, the quality of work you turn out brings us back time and again. You are always quick to respond to our calls and do exceptional work. You know our likes and dislikes, and are always so helpful in aiding us in our decision-making. We will be needing new flooring in our bedrooms soon, and will be calling no one other than East Valley Floors to do the job.

When we decided to replace all the flooring in our home with 20″ porcelain tile, we wanted an experienced, reliable company for such a large project. We received proposals from several companies. We are very happy that we chose Von Payne and East Valley Floors. During the course of the project, all the carpet, vinyl sheet goods, old tile and baseboard in our home had to be removed. The concrete floor was than cleaned and stress cracks were repaired. After the tile was laid, it was grouted and the grouting was sealed. New baseboards were installed. As a final step, East Valley Floors washed the entire tile flooring.
All of East Valley Floors workers arrived on time, were pleasant, accommodating and did excellent work. Several installation challenges were encountered during the project. They were solved with the professionalism and 27 year experience of East Valley Floors. The project was completed during the time frame and for the cost that Von had previously outlined in his proposal. I have been involved in construction for many years and have never seen a finer tile installation.
We have already recommended Von and East Valley Flooring to several friends. Just as the old saying goes: "There is no substitute for experience."

I live four hours from Gilbert, so when our new tenant needed carpet in our home she was renting, and she needed it the next day, before she moved in, I was completely stressed out! Buying carpet “long distance” is not an easy thing. I got on the phone and the internet and began calling carpet companies, for pricing and availability. After contacting four or five other companies in the Phoenix area (both big name companies and mom-and-pop companies), I was relieved to speak with Von. It was almost 5 pm, and he was willing to go to our home, measure, speak with our tenant, and call me back with a quote within thirty minutes! Not only was he quick, but his quote was much lower than any other I had received that day! We scheduled for him to install the carpet and pad the very next day! The carpet was installed and our tenant was able to move in without any delay.
A few weeks later, our tenant expressed some concerns. I contacted Von, who worked directly with our tenant, and had those concerns alleviated within a couple of days—at no additional charge.
We were very happy with the work he did. Not only is Von efficient and much less expensive than other carpet companies, but he is reliable and dependable and aims to please his customers.
Thank you, Von, for helping us keep a happy tenant and for taking care of our home. We will definitely use you the next time we need flooring.

We selected East Valley Floors because they have an A+ rating with the BBB and they are recommended by the Rosie Radio Talk Show host. East Valley Floors completed two projects for us in 2013. The first project started in February with measuring the area and determining supplies and pricing. The job was completed in April. It entailed removing old carpet and tiling from 1100 sq ft and replacing it with tile. The actual job took 6 working days. One crew came in on Friday and removed the old carpet and tile. Then, first thing Monday morning the tile installation crew arrived. We left the house to them and went on a mini-vacation returning on Friday afternoon. The workmen were very friendly and helpful. They gave us tips on how to use the grout sealer and what product to use.
Once the above job was finished, we had Von return to the house in May and give estimates on re-carpeting the master bedroom and walk-in closet and tiling the vanity area. Von brought carpet samples to the house so we could see what the different selections would look like in the area. We decided on a carpet and scheduled the work. We removed the carpet from the area and disposed of it ourselves. The new tile was installed on 5/27 and the carpet on 6/1.
The house looks brand new (partly because we’d repainted and replaced baseboards in conjunction with this project). Von and his workmen were professional and very helpful. The next time we need this type of work, we’ll be calling East Valley Floors.
